Paulding County and the surrounding region are rich in numbers of military service veterans. Brave men and women who have served in conflicts dating back to World War II reside in and around our community.

Prior to the inaugural Air Show in 2012, the founding team elected to name the air show ‘Salute America’ with the intention to recognize and honor our veterans during the Air Show each year. The Salute America Air Show is dedicated to honoring our veterans and making their presence a significant part of each show.

A special luncheon will be held on Friday, May 8th to recognize these brave residence of Paulding County for their service to our great Nation. Following the luncheon in the Silver Comet President’s Club, veterans will enjoy a private practice session for the Air Show.

If you are a veteran wishing to attend the Salute America Air Show luncheon, or you have a friend or family member that would like to attend, please contact David Carmichael, Director of Veterans Affairs at
